Always an excellent experience visiting the Cafe on the Common, although absolutely no good for my diet! I pretend I’m going to go for the healthy option, and I start off well, but then I just can’t resist all the homemade food. Cold porridge is always on my list, as is the soup, often followed by cake,,,,,, I started off well, right? I find the atmosphere very friendly and tolerant of muddy dogs (and husbands!) I also love the ethos of the organisation and it’s so rewarding when you see the youngster flourishing as they progress through their training. A must when in the area.

Wonderful little cafe/restaurant, adjacent to Chorleywood Cricket Club and backs on to the vast Chorleywood Common. Social enterprise small business, supporting people with disabilities through food and beverage training, as well as through sales of creations in the gift corner. Food was excellent, fresh and a homemade feel. Several vegan options available. Staff very friendly and engaging.

As always, myself and my husband had a great experience in the cafe today. Enjoyed excellent coffee and cake and a warm welcome. Thank you to Erica and the hosting team, all volunteers who give their time and energy to a great cause. We will certainly be back.

Such a lovely cafe … In Chorleywood I enjoyed a delicious coffee cake which was so light and cream was absolutely tasty … After a long walk from ricksmaworth , this cafe was like an oasis of respite … haha Had hot chocolate which was quite good too. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely will recommend when in the neighbourhood… The picturesque greenery seen from the cafe and quiet surroundings are perfect to read your favourite book while enjoying coffee…. Cheers

We cannot go on the common without going in here…we are dragged in by our dog! No complaints at all! Loveliest people serving fabulous food. Always lovely to meet the new interns learning new things. So good to see the cafe busy and worth the wait! Please go here if you get the chance. Will be back very soon to support this great cause and great cafe. Thank you all.

Vegan review - such a lovely setting, excellent service and delicious food. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible but you may find the gravel car park a bit challenging. Also very dog friendly. Quite a few vegan options including vegan cake. This is a training space for people with learning disabilities so they do not encourage swaps on the standard menu. Toilets are unisex so very LGBTQI+ friendly. Set in the cricket club on the Chorleywood common for peaceful walks if you want to walk off the delicious food. If the parking outside the cafe is full drive out and turn left and there is another parking lot entrance 50metres on the left.
